CSI PROJECTS
Off to Bigger and Better Things
Wednesday, May 29, 2019
Happiness is successfully completing a four-month fully-funded learnership as either a chef, waitron or housekeeper, at the Peermont Hotel School (PHS) earlier this year and then graduating during a ceremony at Emperors Palace’s Red Roman Shed on Wednesday morning, May 29. Here Thandeka Mbukwane (chef) of KwaThema and Zandré Taljaard (waitron) of Springs show their delight at graduating and also being named the “Trailblazer of the Year” in their respective learnerships for showing leadership, being innovative and always first to do a task. Thanks to their PHS qualifications Mbukwane has already found a position at the Food Lovers Eatery in Braamfontein while Taljaard is set to head overseas to work on a cruise ship. To follow in their footsteps Ekurhuleni residents, between the ages of 18 and 25, can apply for a PHS scholarship by visiting www.peermonthotelschool.co.za for further information
