The King Visits

On Saturday evening, October Bob Yearham & Clive Tavener of Greenstone were on hand to welcome His Majesty the King of the Zulu Nation, King Zwelithini Ka-Bhekuzulu and his wife, Queen Thandi Zulu to the Palace of Dreams’ 5-Star D’oreale Grande Hotel. The King and his wife were at the East Rand resort and casino to attend a private dinner hosted by Yearham. Among the other special guests at the dinner was Chairman of Galencia Group and Huaqiao Fenghuang Group, Su Cheng (second right) who is pictured here with Yearham (left), the Queen, the King and Tavener (right).

The hotel say at Mondeor is nice. Rooms always clean. Staff ate friendly. Buffet breakfast is pleasant with a wide selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, warm breakfast food like eggs, bacon, sausages etc. Coffee, teas, water and fruit juice available. Casino is vibrant with lots of restaurants for every need.

The conference centre service was lacklustre and the facilities are somewhat dated. The conference centre is close to the airport, but a nightmare to get to from anywhere else because of traffic.
Redlo
Not so much the whole of Emperors Palace, more our hotel within it as there are many. It is rated 5 star but, sheets were dirty and service took forever.
