On Saturday evening, March 7 Tebogo Phaswane of Tembisa was the lucky winner of a new red Mazda 2 in Emperors Palace’s latest big “Money Cash Bucks” promotion draw. Here a thrilled Phaswane is pictured behind the wheel of her new car which was the first of two Mazda 2’s to be given away in the R3-million campaign before it ends in the beginning of April. With R3-million in cold, hard cash up for grabs in 22 gameshows as well as another Mazda 2 to be given away on Saturday, April 4 Winners Circle cardholders still have plenty of chances of coining it by playing slots and or tables with their cards, earning the required points, entering and be at the draws.

The hotel say at Mondeor is nice. Rooms always clean. Staff ate friendly. Buffet breakfast is pleasant with a wide selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, warm breakfast food like eggs, bacon, sausages etc. Coffee, teas, water and fruit juice available. Casino is vibrant with lots of restaurants for every need.

The conference centre service was lacklustre and the facilities are somewhat dated. The conference centre is close to the airport, but a nightmare to get to from anywhere else because of traffic.

Not so much the whole of Emperors Palace, more our hotel within it as there are many. It is rated 5 star but, sheets were dirty and service took forever.
