The Shopping & Food Fest returns to Emperors Palace with another spectacular four-day festival perfect for families, friends and holiday goers alike.

The Shopping & Food Fest 2025 presents a fresh and innovative approach to festive expos, combining gourmet culinary experiences with a curated shopping environment. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore over 90 exclusive shopping stalls, offering a diverse range of products including designer garments, children’s couture, international fashion lines, home décor, jewellery, beauty, kitchenware, toys, gifts and a variety of exotic culinary offerings. The festival also features a Halaal Food Market, presenting a wide selection of gourmet foods, confectionery, snacks and beverages to cater to every taste.

Entertainment will be at the heart of the event, ensuring a lively and memorable experience for visitors. Highlights include celebrity comedy performances, including The Muthu Murugan Comedy Show, Let’s Twist Again with Shaky Russell & Live Band, Mo Vawda (Funny Man), Spectacular Bollywood Performances, Kiddies Acts & more.

Additionally, an exclusive motor car display will showcase some of the most sought-after vehicles, providing excitement for automobile enthusiasts. The festival also caters to families, offering a drop-and-go kids corner, allowing parents to enjoy shopping and entertainment while children are safely engaged in fun and creative activities.

The hotel say at Mondeor is nice. Rooms always clean. Staff ate friendly. Buffet breakfast is pleasant with a wide selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, warm breakfast food like eggs, bacon, sausages etc. Coffee, teas, water and fruit juice available. Casino is vibrant with lots of restaurants for every need.

The conference centre service was lacklustre and the facilities are somewhat dated. The conference centre is close to the airport, but a nightmare to get to from anywhere else because of traffic.

Not so much the whole of Emperors Palace, more our hotel within it as there are many. It is rated 5 star but, sheets were dirty and service took forever.
