SELAELO SELOTA: Footprints of a Lifetime is a landmark live concert where one of South Africa’s most celebrated music icons blends powerful music with intimate storytelling. In his most authentic form, Selota shares personal journeys of youth, struggle, courage, and self-belief — revealing the real-life moments behind the songs that shaped a nation.

Audiences will revisit beloved classics including Thrrr…Phaaa!, Seshego, Pelong, and Mponeng, alongside never-before-heard narrations and surprise guest appearances from artists who form part of his legacy. Recorded live, this once-in-a-lifetime experience celebrates over 25 years of musical excellence and marks the journey behind his forthcoming autobiography and album, Footprints of a Lifetime.

The hotel say at Mondeor is nice. Rooms always clean. Staff ate friendly. Buffet breakfast is pleasant with a wide selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, warm breakfast food like eggs, bacon, sausages etc. Coffee, teas, water and fruit juice available. Casino is vibrant with lots of restaurants for every need.

The conference centre service was lacklustre and the facilities are somewhat dated. The conference centre is close to the airport, but a nightmare to get to from anywhere else because of traffic.

Not so much the whole of Emperors Palace, more our hotel within it as there are many. It is rated 5 star but, sheets were dirty and service took forever.
