Helenè Bester honours iconic Greek singer Nana Mouskouri in her celebrated production, Helenè Bester sings Nana Mouskouri. The show was written and directed by Frans Swart, with musical direction by Heinrich Pelser, who also serves as Helenè’s accompanist.

Inspired by Mouskouri’s enduring legacy, Helenè shares her admiration for the singer's multilingual talent, humility, and global hits like Cucurrucucu and Only Love. Drawing parallels between her life and Mouskouri's, Helenè says, “I’ve always wanted to perform a Nana tribute, as her music deeply influenced my childhood.”

With years of preparation, including studying Mouskouri’s stage presence, Helenè believes her matured voice perfectly suits the tribute, delivering an authentic and heartfelt homage to one of music’s most beloved icons.
