EMPERORS PALACE – CHRISTMAS VILLAGE 2024

ENTRANCE

Guests arrive at Level 4 where they receive their armbands and entrance paraphernalia to the event.  Walking up the ramp, they are already starting to feel the embrace of Christmas with lights and performers welcoming them to the Coca-Cola Waiting Area.  Here they are entertained and have access to refreshments before entering the magical Tunnel of Light.

TUNNEL OF LIGHT
Here they are encapsulated by a mesmerising environment of magical lights, constructed utilising 24km of coloured lighting.  A true spectacle!

As they enter the Christmas Village, they will encounter the following themed areas…

THE NORTH POLE

The North Pole, where Father Christmas and his reindeer start their journey, is also occupied by families of penguins and of course, the polar bear family.  The penguin show takes place between the two igloos with impromptu penguin dance sequences and is hosted by the 2,5m polar bear which is bound to be a hit with children and adults alike.  Herein in lies a wonderful photographic opportunity to start you journey.

MAGICAL ENCHANTED FOREST

From the North Pole, one enters the Magical Enchanted Forest with fairies, gnomes, giant mushrooms, an abundance of trees and a giant story book from where the Fairy Queen will enthral our visitors with tales of intrigue.

CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

The Christmas Village is a spectacular experience with quaint houses and mystical encounters with the village residents.  The Village is rooted in Christmas traditions and childhood fantasies.

THE GARDEN OF LIGHT

From the Magical Enchanted Forest, guests will enter the Garden of Light, a Christmas light extravaganza which is sure to find favour with our festival fans.  This is reminiscent of the original Christmas attraction at Emperors Palace.

TOMBOLA ALLEY

Tombola Alley is where we stop and have some good, old fashioned fun and games, testing our skills against the tombola challenges.  A Money Shower, where lots of prizes are on offer, also forms part of this engaging experience.

STONE TOWN

After experiencing all the Christmas wonders, one enters Stone Town where 90 Christmas merchants, offering a diverse range of food, gifts and goodies awaits you.  In the centre of Stone Town, we find Father Christmas going about his jolly Christmas business, welcoming children to meet with him and have photographs taken with him.

This years’ Christmas Village is bound to be a truly mesmerising experience – Christmas at its best!
