Wesley Children's Home Recieves R200 000

Nearly R1.5-million was raised during the Garden of Lights held at the 5-star D’oreale Grande Hotel during the festive season with Emperors donating money to four worthy causes. Among the beneficiaries to collect cheques at the Palace of Dreams during the last few weeks was the John Wesley Children's Home, based in Kempton Park, which received R200 000. The hotel say at Mondeor is nice. Rooms always clean. Staff ate friendly. Buffet breakfast is pleasant with a wide selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, warm breakfast food like eggs, bacon, sausages etc. Coffee, teas, water and fruit juice available. Casino is vibrant with lots of restaurants for every need.

The conference centre service was lacklustre and the facilities are somewhat dated. The conference centre is close to the airport, but a nightmare to get to from anywhere else because of traffic.

Not so much the whole of Emperors Palace, more our hotel within it as there are many. It is rated 5 star but, sheets were dirty and service took forever.
