Emperors Palace Makes a Difference in Tembisa
In June and July, Emperors Palace proudly continued its commitment to community upliftment through two impactful Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives in Tembisa, in partnership with the Ward 14 Councillor and the local municipality.
Feeding Scheme Support
To help address the urgent issue of food insecurity, Emperors Palace donated food to a local feeding scheme that supports grandmother-led and child-headed households. Every morning, children stop by the community kitchen for soft porridge before heading to school and return for a nutritious lunch later in the day. Elderly caregivers also receive a daily meal, ensuring sustained nourishment. This initiative not only provided essential food items but also reinforced Emperors Palace’s ongoing commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups in the community.
Winter Drive Initiative
Following an urgent request from the local Councillor, Emperors Palace extended support to 21 families—mostly pensioners and people with disabilities—who had lost beds and linen due to recent heavy rains. The team donated new beds, linen, and food parcels to bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of dignity to affected households during the cold winter months. More than just addressing physical needs, the initiative offered emotional relief and reassurance to struggling families.
These initiatives reflect Emperors Palace’s dedication to making a meaningful difference, one project at a time.
