Charity Mile 2019

One of Gauteng’s biggest horse racing events of the year, the Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile took place at Turffontein Racecourse on Saturday afternoon, November 2 and once again attracted a field of the country’s top racehorses that were paired with 16 well-known personalities for the benefit of 16 charities. Here the celebrities that gave of their time for this good cause are pictured in the parade ring before the start of the race with the Palace of Dreams’ Complex Operations Executive, Clive Tavener (back left), Bob Yearham (back right), Peermont Board Chairman, Paul Baloyi (kneeling front left) and Peermont CEO, Nigel Atherton (kneeling front right). The celebrities are, in the front, David Louw and in the middle, Kevin Lerena, Bohang Moeko, Alfred Ntombela, Bob Mabena, Jesse Suntele and Neil Andrews. At the back are, Thandy Matlaila, Buhle Samuels, Winnie Ntshaba, Khayakazi Kula, Mapaseka Koetle, Tema Sebopedi, Nicole Bessick, Celeste Khumalo, Kriya Gangiah, Hildegardt Whites and Relebogile Mabotja.
