PRESS RELEASE
Live Boxing rocks the Palace of Dreams
Saturday, December 4, 2021
After being sent to the canvas three times in the third round Edenvale’s Roarke Knapp made a great comeback to beat the Angolan-born, Christiano Ndombassy in the headline bout of the “No Love Lost” Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace on Saturday evening, December 4. On hand to congratulate Knapp on winning the vacant WBA Pan African middleweight title, after Ndombassy’s corner threw in the towel at the start of the fifth round, was Peermont CEO and fellow Edenvale resident, Nigel Atherton. The conference centre service was lacklustre and the facilities are somewhat dated. The conference centre is close to the airport, but a nightmare to get to from anywhere else because of traffic.

Not so much the whole of Emperors Palace, more our hotel within it as there are many. It is rated 5 star but, sheets were dirty and service took forever.
