Rowan “Braveheart” Campbell gave a clinical performance on Saturday evening, November 30 to keep his unbeaten record intact, and go 12 and 0, by beating Cape Town’s Nicholas Radley with a fourth round TKO in the headline bout of the “4@War”Box and Dine bill at Emperors Palace’s Centre Court. The SA Super Middleweight champion is pictured here after his victory with the Palace of Dreams’ Complex Operations Executive, Clive Tavener who was on hand to congratulate Campbell on his win.
Meanwhile Brandon Thysse and Boyd Allen will do battle at Emperors Palace’s Centre Court to see who is South Africa’s top Junior Middleweight after they won their respective semi-final bouts against Roarke Knapp and Tristan Truter on the undercard of the “4@War”. While Thysse beat Roarke Knapp with a 7th round knockout, Allen sent Truter packing in the 10th round of their clash when the referee stopped the fight setting up a mouth-watering clash next year. In a further bout, Ricardo Malajika beat Mnqobi Mkhize, with an 8th round TKO, to win ABU Junior Bantamweight title.
