WPT Deepstacks is Back!

After months with casinos closed because of COVID-19 and lockdown regulations now eased the WPT Deestacks Freeze-Out Tournament happened at Emperors Palace’s Theatre of Marcellus on Saturday afternoon, November 28. Bedfordview’s Ivan Pakkiri (pictured) was in top form and went on to win the event and collect, not only the trophy, but also R220 000 in prize money. The 11-day long tournament reaches its climax on Wednesday, December 2 when the Main Event kicks off at 12h00. Poker enthusiasts who still wish to participate in the latter event can contact kaylab@shuffleuppoker.com to see if seats (which are limited due to lockdown regulations) are still available.

Attended an awards ceremony for IEB grade 12 graduates from Curro Holdings.
The MC was fantastic. The food was great but most of all, the staff were polite, very professional and accommodating to help.
