The public has spoken and Emperors Palace has been voted as “The Best Entertainment/Casino” in the inaugural Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards 2015. Initiated and organized by Caxton Newspapers East & South the winners of the competition were announced at the Palace of Dreams on Wednesday evening, October 28 with the East Rand resort and entertainment venue a clear favourite in this category of the readers of the 10 local newspapers involved in the competition. Pictured here receiving this accolade from the Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards Project Manager, Clyde Meela (right) is Emperors Palace Complex Operations Executive, Nigel Atherton of Edenvale. This was not the only award that went the way of the Palace of Dreams with “The Best Beauty Mecca/Health Spa in Ekurhuleni “(Octavia's Day Spa)”, The Best Getaway to Regenerate Yourself”, “The Best Cinema Complex (Emperors Palace Nu Metro)”, “The Best Hotel (the D’oreale Grande)” and “The Best Spot to Take Out-of-Towners” accolades also finding a home at “The Best Entertainment/Casino” .
