The dynamic duo, Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani are the number one music maestros in India. Known for being award-winning lyricists, composers, directors and playback singers, they have sold over 10 million albums worldwide and have composed music for over 60 Bollywood movies. They have performed in over 1000 concerts worldwide and have sung, produced and composed music in Hindi, Tamil, Telegu and Marathi movies.
Vishal Dadlani, a former VJ is also the vocalist of Mumbai-based electronic band Pentagram. Shekhar Ravjiani, a former contestant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1997, is a trained classical singer. They joined forces in 1997, with the movie, Betaabi, and have been dominating the Bollywood music industry over the last two decades. Dadlani and Ravjiani have been reality TV show judges on shows such as Indian Idol Junior, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs as well as the hit TV shows The Stage and Dil Hai Hindustani. The duo are no strangers to the silver screen having appeared in the movies Om Shanti Om, Tees Maar Khan and Happy New Year. In addition, the talented performers have produced and directed music in Bollywood movies such as Kaante, Jhankaar Beats, Musafir, Rudraksh, Salaam Namaste, Shabd, Dus, Bluffmaster and Taxi No.9211.
Both Dadlani and Ravjiani have received several accolades and awards over the years, with Dadlani being nominated on several occasions for the best male playback singer at the Filmfare awards. In 2010, he was Dan Te Nan, in 2012 nominated for Chammak Challo, 2016 for Gulaabo. The duo won the award for best duet at the Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA) in 2014 for Balam Pichkari, IIFA awards for best music director for RA One in 2010 and I Hate Luv Storys in 2011. They were also the proud awardees of the Screen award for the best music director for Student of the Year in 2013 and Happy New Year in 2015. The duo have recorded and delivered hit after hit.
