Peermont Hotels Casinos and Resorts contributes millions of Rands through various CSI initiatives

Peermont Hotels Casinos and Resorts continues to invest millions annually in community upliftment through its flagship property, Emperors Palace. From feeding schemes and scholarships to business funding, the resort has long been a driver of social impact in Ekurhuleni.

Most recently, the Peermont Community Benefit Trust (PCBT) and Peermont Children’s Trust (PCT) have deepened their support of the Thembisa and Oosrand Schools of Specialisation (SOS), focusing on Hospitality and Tourism. Investments include simulated hotel and restaurant facilities, gas stoves for practical cooking classes, and academic support programmes for Grade 11 and 12 learners.

In partnership with the Swiss Hotel School (SHS), PCBT also launched a “Train the Trainer” programme, equipping educators with industry‑specific skills to enhance teaching quality. All participating teachers graduated successfully, bringing enriched knowledge and confidence back to their classrooms.

“By investing in both learners and educators, we are strengthening the pipeline of future hospitality and tourism professionals,” said Trust Manager Thomas Masango.

Through these initiatives, Peermont reaffirms its commitment to empowering communities, advancing education, and shaping brighter futures.
