PCT Gifts Food Parcels
Tuesday, December 5, 2017
The Peermont Children’s Trust (PCT), one of Peermont Global’s flagship Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programmes, has once again given food parcels to less fortunate learners from the disadvantaged areas that fall in the Emperors Palace catchment area, prior to the start of the December school holidays. In total nearly 650 youngsters, that attend the seven aftercare centres supported by the Trust in Ekurhuleni, benefitted from this handover. On Tuesday, November 28 Trust Administrator, Thomas Masango (middle) visited the Nageng Primary Aftercare Centre in Vosloorus where he assisted the centre’s practitioners, Louisa Mabotje (left) and Ingrid Maake (right) hand parcels to 90 learners including, Salphy Maboa and Keabetswe Madoda. Learners who attend the Trust supported aftercare centres also receive food parcels before the mid-year school holidays, get new uniforms at the start of each school year, are treated to a Christmas party annually and benefit from a feeding scheme and supervised aftercare during the school term.
