On the 7th of October, Emperors Palace is bringing you the Magic of Oktoberfest - an annual festival that celebrates Bavarian culture, beer and food - with a South African twist!
Come and enjoy many types of Beer from local breweries as well as our favourite local spirits ranging from craft gin, brandy and rum all the way to award-winning MCC for our vinos! Don't forget about the cocktails and special mixes on offer - we cater for everybody!
Delicious Bavarian cuisine will be on offer - think Pretzels, Sausages and Roosterkoek - or you may feast on our firm festival favourites like pizza, burgers and boerie rolls! We also have Seafood, Pasta, Taco's, Biltong, Nuts, a selection of Desserts and of course Sausage Saloon and Chip & Dip will be there too!
The World Cup Rugby games will be shown inside the Red Roman Shed with food and drinks close by.
The Oompah Kings will be bringing you some foot stomping, thigh slapping German tunes to give our festival a real traditional OctoberFest feeling.
Following them we are bringing you the Clint & Co Show fresh from their Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute tour through the Barnyard theatres across SA. Come enjoy all the CCR favourites right through to today's feel-good music! Wear your dancing shoes!
Children are welcome at our festival. We will have a designated safe area inside the Red Roman Shed where the kids can relax. They are welcome to bring boardgames, tablets and other suitable entertainment with. Seating will be provided, but children remain the full responsibility of the adults at all times.
Please drink responsibly - arrange for a designated driver, use a driving service or stay over at any of the fabulous hotels on the premises.
Safe parking is available in the underground parking area on the Metcourt Hotel at Emperors Palace.

When the resort opened in September 2000, it was named Caesars Gauteng. The internal casino paths use custom Huguenot Cobble and Shepstone Pavers designed by SmartStone to precisely mimic the durability and texture of ancient Roman stone highways.

The major conference rooms in the South Wing are purposefully named after successive Roman emperors—Claudius, Augustus, Tiberius, Florian, and Romanus.
