PRESS RELEASE
Lerena Retains Title
Saturday, June 8, 2019
Springbok and Lions flyhalf, Elton Jantjies and rapper, songwriter and record producer, Cassper Nyovest were among the boxing fans at Saturday evening’s “KO Kings” Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace to support South Africa’s IBO Cruiserweight world champion, Kevin "Two Guns" Lerena as the latter defended his title against Vasil Ducar of the Czech Republic. Much to their, and the crowds delight, Lerena beat Ducar with a unanimous points decision to retain his world title for the fourth time. Here Jantjies and Nyovest are ringside with the champ, his trainer, Peter Smith and Emperors Palace’s Complex Operations Executive, Clive Tavener, straight after the fight.
