Golden Gloves Boxing Event at Emperors Palace

On 2 September Emperors Place hosted another cracker Golden Gloves boxing event. Place Knights saw some of the best of local fighters take on international competition in an evening of top-class boxing. Here are the results:

Roarke Knapp beat Przemyslaw Zysk by TKO when referee Thabo Spampool stopped the fight in the 5th round of this Junior Middleweight bout.

Ricardo Malajika beat Kevin Louis Munoz on a unanimous points decision to be crowned the new IBO Junior Bantamweight champion.

Shervantaigh Koopman beat Brandon Thysse by TKO when Thysse failed to come out for the 9th. Koopman retains the SA Junior Middleweight title.

Tristan Naidoo beat Justin Mostert (debut) by TKO when Mostert failed to come out for the 4th.

Odieu Dzabotou beat Keanu Koopman by TKO in the 2nd when referee Thando Spampool stopped the fight.

Beaven Sibanda beat Mthokozisi Ngxaka by a unanimous points decision over 6 rounds in this Mini Flyweight bout.
