Daveyton resident, Pinki Aphane couldn’t believe his luck on Saturday evening (February 4) when he won a new Kia Rio in Emperors Palace’s “Summer at the Palace” promotion. Here a thrilled Aphane (centre) is pictured being congratulated on his good fortune and handed the keys to his car by the Palace of Dreams’ General Manager - Operations, Pamla Nagappa (left) of Edenvale and Promotions Manager, Irvin Nkosi (right) of Greenstone. This was the third and final Kia given away in the campaign which concluded on Sunday, February 5 with a lucky Cyrildene resident becoming an instant millionaire when he won R500 000 in cash and R500 000 in FreePlay in a black card draw in the Theatre of Marcellus. Emperors Palace guests will be happy to know that a new promotion "Jetsetters" has kicked off with R10-million in cash, FreePlay and holidays to be given away. Silver, Gold and Sapphire Winners Circle Cardholders simply have to play slots and/or tables with their card, earn the necessary points, enter and they could win trips to Bali, the Seychelles or Zanzibar on Saturday, 4 March, 1 April and 6 May.
