Bigger, Warmer & Better: The Shopping & Food Fest 2026 Comes to Emperors Palace This July!

Team Shaky & Razzle Events SA proudly presents The Shopping & Food Fest 2026, taking place from 10–12 July 2026 at the Red Roman Shed Venue, Emperors Palace. With free entry and a bigger, more spacious and fully covered venue, this three-day festival promises an exciting holiday experience for the whole family.

Visitors can explore over 90 shopping stalls featuring designer fashion, children’s couture, international clothing, jewellery, beauty products, home décor, kitchenware, toys, gifts and more. Food lovers can enjoy a dedicated Halaal Food Market offering gourmet foods, confectionery, snacks, desserts and beverages.

Entertainment highlights include the Jailoshini Naidoo “Aunty Rumba” Comedy Show, Shaky Russell & Live Band (Shake, Rattle & Roll), celebrity comedian Mervyn Pillay, spectacular Bollywood performances, The Micheal Jackson Experience, kiddies’ entertainment and a variety of live attractions throughout the weekend.

Additional attractions include an exclusive motor car display, a secure drop-and-go Kids Corner, an incredible “Ice Rink” Experience, Family Funfair and live World Cup screenings, ensuring fun and entertainment for visitors of all ages.

Staying true to its theme of “Bigger, Warmer & Better,” the festival features expanded exhibition space, extensive covered areas and additional heaters throughout the venue, ensuring a warm and comfortable experience despite the winter weather.

The hotel say at Mondeor is nice. Rooms always clean. Staff ate friendly. Buffet breakfast is pleasant with a wide selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, warm breakfast food like eggs, bacon, sausages etc. Coffee, teas, water and fruit juice available. Casino is vibrant with lots of restaurants for every need.

The conference centre service was lacklustre and the facilities are somewhat dated. The conference centre is close to the airport, but a nightmare to get to from anywhere else because of traffic.

Not so much the whole of Emperors Palace, more our hotel within it as there are many. It is rated 5 star but, sheets were dirty and service took forever.
