On 27 March the Emperors Palace Cycle Classic was welcomed back after a 4 year absence. Hundreds competed in the event which consisted of a 48km and 98km race on flat tar. Billed as the fastest road race it came down to a tight finish.
The men’s sprint ended with Shaun-Nick Bester of Montana, Jaco van Dyk of Klerksdorp, and Dusty Day of Klerksdorp taking the top 3 spots.
