Reach For The Stars Press conference

With less than a month to the “Reach For The Stars” Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace some of the boxers who will be in action on the night attended a press conference at the Sweatbox Studio in Mulbarton on Thursday afternoon, July 12. The boxers, in the front, Wynand Mulder, Ayabonga “Jay Jay” Sonjica, Wade Groth and at the back, Siya Mabena, Jabulane Makhense, Renson Hobyani, Rowan Campbell and Keaton Gomes all looked in good shape and ready for action. The tournament, taking place on Friday evening, August 10 will be headlined by Hobyani and Campbell who will fight for the SA Super Middleweight belt with Mulder taking on Groth in a SA Middleweight interim tittle and Mabena and Makhense going toe-to-toe in a Junior Welterweight fight. Sonjica will meet Deon Mbumbana in a Junior Featherweight bout and in the remaining fight Gomes will come up against Moses Bila in a Cruiserweight tussle.
