Blacks Only at emperors Palace

On Saturday evening, March 24 six of South Africa’s finest and funniest comedians joined veteran funnyman, David Kau of Kyalami in celebrating his 20th year in the comedy industry by performing in the Blacks Only Comedy Top 6 Show at Emperors Palace’s Centre Court. Here Kau (second left), is pictured backstage with VIP guests, Peermont Trustee, Vusi Zwane and Emperors Palace the Palace of Dreams’ General Manager, Clive Tavener and some of these comedians, Dillan Oliphant , Chris Forrest, Celeste Ntuli and Conrad Koch and his famous puppet, Chester Missing.

The hotel say at Mondeor is nice. Rooms always clean. Staff ate friendly. Buffet breakfast is pleasant with a wide selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, warm breakfast food like eggs, bacon, sausages etc. Coffee, teas, water and fruit juice available. Casino is vibrant with lots of restaurants for every need.

The conference centre service was lacklustre and the facilities are somewhat dated. The conference centre is close to the airport, but a nightmare to get to from anywhere else because of traffic.

Not so much the whole of Emperors Palace, more our hotel within it as there are many. It is rated 5 star but, sheets were dirty and service took forever.
