Emperors Palace supports Tembisa SOS on Mandela Day

On 18 July, the #WinningTeams at Emperors Palace embarked on their Mandela Day project for 2024. Mandela Day is the annual global celebration that takes place on 18 July to honour the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela. This day is a call to action for all individuals, communities, and organisations to take time to reflect on Mandela's values and principles and to make a positive impact in their own communities, for a minimum of 67 minutes.

As always, the #WinningTeam were out in force to help make a difference in their communities. Emperors Palace continued its support and commitment to the Tembisa Commerce and Entrepreneurship School of Specialisation with focus on Hospitality and Tourism (Tembisa SOS) with various initiatives valued at over R220 000 for Mandela Day. Among these projects was revamping the nutrition centre at the school which provides food for approximately 1500 children daily. Thanks to assistance from the Empact Group the Palace of Dreams was also able to provide some much-needed kitchen equipment.
